A little more about us

 

We are base in picturesque Oulton Broad on the Suffolk coast. The proprietor is himself an advanced certified woodworker with over 27 years experience.

 

Clients are welcome by appointment to come and visit us and our facilities and on occasion previous projects.

 

We embrace the simple concept of “continuous improvement” and wish to hear positive and most importantly negative comments.

 

We will consider any project the more interesting or difficult the better.

 

Survey

 

No hard sell, if you request a visit, we’re just there to talk about what you might want and to measure up.

 

Designs

 

We are very flexible and can work to your own, ours or any design even magazine clippings. Styles from traditional to modern minimalist are all catered for. We also have experienced Computer aided design capabilities.

 

Pricing

 

This is done fairly and not by a salesman with pound signs in his eyes as he walks up your drive looking at how big your house is! We can offer fixed price on our standard specification.

 

Delivery

 

This is generally done in house with the greatest care and is free within a 25 mile radius.

 

Fitting

 

We do offer a highly skilled hand fitting service so you don’t have to rely on your brother in-law’s mate’s mate to fit it.

 

Ecological

 

Our main timber supplier is local to us and also has a good reputation for sourcing from properly managed forests. They only deal in English hardwoods. An example of his reputation, I was once there and met another buyer who had travelled 300 miles for his timbers.

 

Thought is put into waste. The ultimate goal would be not to have any, but trees do not grow in cabinet shape. We re-use waste materials on smaller components continually down the line until no longer possible it is then used for heating purposes. Our waste bin is near empty!

 

We have also even felled and processed our own timbers so we are familiar with the process.
